Description:
The furthest pub up the road to Scarborough Castle, and well worth venturing in for a pint. You will need a good beer jacket if you're off up the cliff, especially in winter months!

This is a big long building, looks a bit sh*t-hole like when heading up the hill, but venture inside to sample its delights.

The pub is essentially two pubs under one roof. A "Pub" Pub, and a "Trendy Wine Bar" Trendy Wine Bar !!!

Separated by a central door, the two roomed bars compliment each other well.

Sit, relax and chill in the pub, or go to the cleverly lit back room to enjoy the Karaoke on a saturday night!

Take a coat though, like the castle itself, it can be nippy in here!

On tap are Carlsberg and Carling, along with Guinness, Bitter etc, and prices are reasonable.

I also hear the Sausage and Chips goes down a treat too!

The bogs are the real beauty though, and the pub gets the better ones than the wine bar! lets check them first.

Warning! Hide your Stolen Goods!

Its a real case of cops and robbers in here, with cartoon wall paintings on the light blue walls, a copper awaits as you enter the gents, and i'm not talking a copper bolt!

To your left inside hides a gang of for white urinals, hiding suspiciously betwen some p*ss splash plates! nicely plumbed on white tiles, with slash soaps!

Opposite, by the sink, mirror soap and dryer, there is a burgular in the old window frame area, with a bag of swag.

I hope he isn't a Turd Burgular?

Next is the door that may be his escape, oooh and it leads to a sh*tter, where we find his accomplice hiding.

He has no swag, in fact he seems to be Down in the Dumps!

White bog, seat, cistern and roll holder, note the red sticker on the seat!

A Bog Brush too, i'm surprised it hasn't been stolen!

Enough of this burgular japery, lets check the posh bar bogs out too.

Situated at the far top of the bar, nearest the castle, this is again a plain blue room, but without the cartoons!

Opposite some good plain p*ssers is a big mirror, radiator, dryer, sink, soap, bin, and a rather nice black condom machine, 2 varieties stocked!

We find a singular white p*sser as before, again with a red sticker on the inside lid, give those burgulars the red card!

Fantastic, well worth a stop to empty your Rusty Sheriff's Badge!

Update January 2006 -

Ladies Toilets!

If the theme in the Gents is of Cops and Robbers and Turd Burgling, then the Ladies theme is very different.

A traditional seaside theme provails throughout, with nice bright colours of yellow and pale blue.

The room is painted as a beach scene, with the yellow sand rising from the floor into sea and sky.

You will find sand castles, buckets and spades, along with a traditional big fat sleeping woman on the wall, even the radiator gets in on the action, sporting a sandcastle.

The toilets bowls are plain white set well against this excellent back-drop, so you can drop from your back in style!

Accompanying the well kept proud toilets are large roll holders, bog brushes and fanny rag bins.
Sink and dryer, also white, are suitably well kept, and there is a large mirror on top of the yellow radiator.

Very Good Indeed.

As if all this theme work is not enough, then take a look at the back of the door as you leave. It is covered in old saucy sea side portcard, always worth a giggle!

make sure you p*ss first though as you may wet yourself laughing!

Excellent, or should we say Excrement!
