Description:
42nd Street, or '42s' as Studenty Types will call it, is a large Indie-Music Nightclub in the centre of Manchester.

You'll most likely be here on a Friday or a Saturday night, after drinks elsewhere in the city.

Join the queue outside, and wait to be frisked, then charged handsomely for the privilege of entering.

Once you've paid the door tax, you'll enter up some stairs into the heart of the night club. There are essentially two areas of music, one large one and one smaller one.

Drinks aren't exactly cheap, but not too extortionate. Beers or Alcopops anyone?

Get some down you, then get on the dance floor and dance like an idiot!

The music is good if you know your indie bands...

..The bogs are located down one side of the main room...

In the gentlemans you'll find a big long silver trough, probably in a very busy state of use, so a bit smelly!

There are two toilets to the left of the urinal, in their own cubicles. White bowls featuring a white seat with the front bit cut out (see photo).

Each cubicle locked, and featured a well stocked big toilet roll holder.

The decor is plain, white tiles and a black floor.

Back out from the cubicles, and you'll find the sink area, kind of round a corner bit from the urinal trough.

It is on a corner itself, a black marble-esque worktop houses three metal sink bowls, each with twin taps. There are also 3 mirrors, and hand soap on the wall. The soap was filled, and the taps worked a treat.

Wash your hands, dry them, then go back out for more drinks and dancing!

A good Night-Club, not everyone's cup of tea though. The bogs aren't stunning, but are well kept considering how busy they get!
