Description:
The Moon and Sixpence in Glossop is a live music / folk bar, with a cracking bustling atmosphere.

the "bar" area itself is quite small, but there is always plenty of bar staff on at the weekend, so the service is pronto.

Try the John Smith's Bitter, it is a good bit of slosh!

The bar is to your left as you enter the pub, proceed further left to the stage area if you'd like to watch the live band, which will generally be acoustic rock or folk.

Otherwise you can head outside to the brightly painted, covered, seating and smoking area, which is very busy and popular too.

You'll find the gents via another door next to the exit to the outdoor area.

You'll be initially amazed by the size of the gent's room, it's tiny!

The walls are painted a light blue, and the flooring is red / terracotta.

Into the small space they've managed to fit a quaint little urinal trough, neatly plumbed in under a window sill.

It had some nice green soaps in it too, the type of which can also been seen in Retro Bar in Manchester, incidentally!

Underneath the trough is a bin full of paper towels from the sink, mind out for stray urine while disposing of your paper!

The sink itself is small, and is to the left of the urinal, it worked ok, but there was no soap.

to the left of the sink is the toilet door, and opposite is a radiator.

The toilet cubicle houses a bog-standard white bowl, with black seat, a toilet brush, and roll. It was well lit.

The door didn't have a locking bolt though, disappointing!

Overall, a nice pub, with bogs that lack some features, but are impressive by their size!

7/10
