Description:
The Balit Kitchen is one of many fine Indian Restuarant's in Macclesfield. It can be foun don Park Green, opposite weatherspoons, next to the ginnel that used to separate it the being joined to Yates' Wine Lodge, which then became American Bar and Grill.

You'll be greeted on entrance by some of the friendly staff members. There is also seating on entrance if you need to wait for a table, or if you are awaiting a takeaway order.

Sit down and have a look at the menu. There is so much good food here. We can recommend the Ponir Chicken, the "Exotica", and the Jalfrezi. The Cheese Nan Bread makes an ideal accompanyment to your meal.

There are several choices for drinks, including those from the Wine Menu, and there is also Boddington's Bitter.

The Reataurant is modern, and well lit. There are two seating areas, one up on a slight raised area.

You'll enjoy your food here, with excellent service, whilst chatting to friends or taking in the Indian Music on the PA System.

Curry and Toilets often go hand-in-hand, so we can warn you in advance that you will find the loos upstairs.

The gent's is a small affair, housing a single urinal, one toilet cubicle, and a sink area.

The room has laminate wood flooring, and features blue wall tiles.

The single urinal is white, and is located at right angles to the sink area. It was clean, and had plenty of room to stand.

Mind the bin by the sink though, we don't want wee in that!

The sink area is on a green-fronted worktop, and houses one sink, with hot and cold taps. There is a central mirror with a wooden frame.

Check out the soap holders at either side. These are custom pices of ceramics, holding hand soap bars, and hand pump / liquid soap (Carex in this case). These little features make an otherwise standard sink area that bit more interesting.

You'll also find the dryer to the left of the sink.

Enter the toilet cubicle and you'll find a white toilet bowl, with a brown wooden seat that is a good match for the laminate flooring.

The toilet flushed well, and there was ample loo roll, both on the bog roll holder, and the cistern and ledge at the back of the bowl.

No bog brush though, one must be needed in a curry house from time to time.

In summing up, this is a good place to eat, and the toilets are clean and well kept, if a little quaint.

7/10
