Description:
The Blacksmiths is the the furthest located pub from Macclesfield Town Centre, when heading down the Chelford Rd from Broken Cross, past the Cock Inn. It is located on the left, opposite a big garden centre, and near a petrol station.

This pub is almost exclusively an eating pub, with an extensive array of outdoor picnic tables to dine at should the weather play ball.

Inside you'll find a traditional, but dark, pub. Lots of beams and brass, and a low ceiling add character.

You'll be served at your table, take a look at the menu and choose a dish and a bevvie. The food is pricey, but nice.

Sitting outdoors in the summer is a joy. Stuck for choice? The "Ham, Egg and Chips" flows down brilliantly with a few beers, after which you'll need a slash...

...locate the bogs back inside, and to the back of the pub...

The toilets room is well lit. The room is white tiles up to a central green-tile divide, above which it is couloured cream/yellow.

The floor tiling is an attractive grey and red diamond pattern, see photo.

There are 3 nicely plumbed white urinals on one wall, well spaced, and set under a mirror to the right, and picture boards to the left.

Opposite are 3 sinks, with a soap pump each, and a worktop. Also a radiator to heat the room in the winter months.

The cubicle houses a white toilet with a dark brown wooden seat. It is plumbed into the wall, so the cistern is hidden, and the flush is on the wall. All was fine, there was a loo brush too, however there wasn't an awful lot of bog roll available, and no spare rolls in view.

The Blacksmith's is a good food pub, come along for beer and grub, then check out the sh*tters.

7/10
