Description:
The Alderley Bar and Grill functions both as a pub / bar and as a grill / restaurant.

We made a trip here in the day once... the bar staff seemed to be having a bit of a disater when we requested a pint of Boddingtons Bitter, so we sat down and took in the surrounds.

The bar is modern, well lit, and full of friendly folk. Judging by peoples food leftovers, the scran looks good in here, very good.

After a short while, a friendly bar man brough out our Boddies, and said we could have them for free... Bargain! We even put the pint pots in an ice bucket to be classy!

During our stay, we visited both the disabled loo (downstairs) and the gents toilet (upstairs i think).

The disabled facilities house a white toilet with a light brown wooden seat, loo roll, sanitary towel bin, and even seats so you can bring someone in with you (see photo). The room is white with a grey floor.

There are two sinks in here, quite low set (see photo). Not sure what the one with the grill tray on it is for, maybe for baby changing?

A cigarette machine is also installed in here.

The gents restroom is a mix of cream tiling and paint.

There are three urinals, neatly plumbed onto a false wall behind, and they had yellow soap blocks in them.

The toilet was white with a standard white plastic seat, silver bog brush, a pedal bin, and a big roll dispenser.

There are two sinks which sit under a substantial mirror. Soap is on the left.

A great pub in Alderley Edge!

8/10

“Went recently

Needs a refit now, nothing like as good as it used to be.

Loos are a smelly as they always were.”
