Description:
You might think the Ox-Fford has a peculiar name. Let's just remember that we're on Oxford Road and leave it at that.

Enter and you'll find rooms on your left, and your right, with the bar on the far left.

I had the Guinness and it was very nice. I seem to remember they had a promotion on one of the bitters to claim a t-shirt after so many pints, I couldn't be arsed.

In the front right room, on entrance, there is an old Late 70s / Early 80s Sony Trinitron Portable Television. A great piece of kit, and still packing a punch with a crackng picture in the 21st Century!

I remember the bar girl was friendly, and tolerated reprobates.

Need to smoke, or fancy a bit of fresh air? There is a beer garden to the rear.

Before you get outside, go right for the gents toilets...

There is a treat of a p*ss stone in here. Set around an L shape of a corner, it has several panes of stone of different sizes, and some excellent copper pipework!

There is also a good p*ss feed trough / outlet at the bottom.

The wall tiles are white, the floors cream.

The cistern above is nice, again fed with the copper piping!

At one end of the room you'll find the entrance to the single cubicle, by the jonny machine.

Look to your left first and you'll see a great old mirror, reading... "Newcastle Brown Ale? Splendid!" ... Brilliant!

The cubilcle hides a rather standard white bog with dark mahagany colured seat. It works well, and the big roll holder is usually well stocked.

Top Pub, Top Stones!
