Description:
This is a Jospeh Holt public house in the middle of Manchester, behind the new Marks and Spencer, near Sinclair's Oyster Bar.

We came in here for some food, a drink, and because we know Holt's pubs are good.

We pondered the food menu, and decided on two meals, Chilli Con Carne, and Chicken Tikka Masala. Both were available with either chips, rice, or half-and-half.

Ordering was a bit of a faff, we had to go to a special counter, and the lady that served us seemed a little flustered, but got there in the end.

We ordered two bitters from the bar, which tasted great, and the food arrived shortly afterwards.

The girl that brung the food out also fetched us condiments, and was very helpful.

The food was brill! Well recommended!

A trip to the gents was the perfect end to my meal...

One through the double door, there are some urinals opposite, a cubicle far-left, and sinks to your near-left.

The room is cream / beige coloured and well lit.

The urinal arrangement is a bit odd, 4 on 1 wall, and 1 on another. Look closely at the photo, there are two p*ss soaps stacked by the pipe near the far-left urinal, perhaps for storage, perhaps for a joke, who knows?

The 4 urinals on one wall share a cistern, whereas the lone urinal has it's own. Advert boards separate the urinals, on the walls.

The toilet cubicle houses a white bog, black seat, and roll holder. There was also extra roll on the cistern, and on the ledge at the back. There was no brush though, and someone had left the loo unflushed!

Opposite the cubicle are the sinks, 2 of, with 2 mirrors. A jonny machine is to the right, along with a metal hand dryer, radiator and bin.

Good Pub - 8/10
