Description:
The Garratt is a reasonably sized pub, tucked away in the middle of Manchester, right by the 5th Avenue Indie Nightclub.

It has a bar at one side, a central standing area, and raised seating areas round the sides. It also has an outdoor drinking area.

There is a black Jagermeister Pool Table, a Juke Box, and several large tit-shaped light fittings hanging from the ceiling.

The clientelle is young, indie / rocker types. The atmosphere was good.

Beer was reasonably priced, Guinness was 2.80, and there were lots of flyers about for different special offers on different days.

The Staff and Doormen were all friendly.

The bogs are to the back-right of the pub, past the bar, Ladies on the right, Gents on the left.

There is a big old p*ss stone in the gents, with 5 bays and a nice Diamond and Squares chequered pattern in the tiling above, see photo.

It has a cistern in the middle, ad boards, and stickers to p*ss on.

It is however a bit smelly, on a cold February Night there were flies in here!

To it's left are two sinks, not all the taps worked, and the hand dryer was broken too! There are 2 mirrors, soap and a jonny dispenser.

Check out the nice old grid between the stones and the sink area, on the red tiled floor!

The toilet cubicle is opposite the p*sser / urinal, again smelly with wee on the floor, and flies, the door didnt lock either!

The bog itself is white with a light brown seat.

There was bog roll, but most was on the floor in the wet.

I went to flush the loo, but bottled it as the handle was covered in mould!

Time to wash my hands with the working taps and wipe on my hands on my trousers I think!

Nice Pub, Poorly Maintained Bogs!

5/10
