Description:
O'Sheas is an Irish Bar tucked away in the middle of Manchester, on the corner of Whitworth St and Princess St, near the 5th Avenue Nightclub.

You'll enter up a few steps, into a seating area to the right of the pub, before bearing left to the bar area, and full-circle left to more seating and a live band stage area.

The pub is decorated with many old Irish Relics and Guinness Memorabilia. The pub is quite tatty and scruffy, but this adds to the theme.

A live band plays most weekends!

On the bar we found several bar staff ready to serve what is an excellent example of Good Guinness in city centre Manchester, 3.00 a pint on our recent visit (April 2009) too.

We'd come in early-ish on a Saturday night. By the time we left, the bar was filling up nicely, and the band were starting!

Toilet Time, the toilets are on the far right of the pub - on entrance to the pub bear straight ahead for the loos.

One thing that was overwhlming in here was the lack of light, a few more bulbs wouldnt go amiss.

The walls in here are tiled with white and light blue tiles, my camera flash has revealed.

There is a massive metal trough urinal to use, or two cubicles.

The usinal looking fairly old, a little rusty, but otherwise good to go.

Above it is a nicely shaped cistern, and air freshener spray unit (see photo).

The cubicles are painted black, contrasting well with the terracotta flooring.

Each had a black and white toilet, and loo roll, the door locks were a bit iffy though.

opposite the cubicles are two sinks in a work top in a little alcove. There was soap, and two mirrors, but the hand dryer was useless!

Good Pub - Toilets Could Do Better! 5/10
