Description:
This pub is on the ground floor underneath The Alexandra Hotel / B & B, and has recently been renamed to Jimmy's Irish Bar.

Inside, the building looks quite old. It is mainly white, with lots of exposed beams, painted white.

There are some Irish and Guinness related advertising and collectables on the walls, as well as a Wales flag in the pool room.

The bar is kind-of in the middle, with a front room before it, and the aforementioned pool room to the rear.

The Guinness was good, well priced, and served by a friendly bar chap.

We went and had a game of pool.

Several others were in too, and seemed a friendly bunch.

For entertainment, the bar had music tv channels on via satellite.

The pub boasts to be the only Irish Pub experience for miles around, and it certainly made a change from a lot of the other pubs in Llandudno.

The toilets are accesible from the front sitting room, to the left of the bar, and are marked "O' Mens" and "O' Womens".

Lets have a look in the Gents... or "O' Mens"...

The bogs here are a pretty plain affair, and a litle rundown.

There is a metal trough urinal, though it had soap it was very p*ss stained and smelly. It is served above from an old black cistern!

To it's right is a sink. The sink had soap, but the hand towel dispenser was empty, and there was no alternative, i.e. hand dryer, so I used loo roll.

The single cubicle has a white bog, with left hand flush, and a big roll holder. Again, this is an area of the pub showing signs of wear and in need of some attention.

A good pub, good atmosphere, loos need a bit of an overhaul.

5/10
