Description:
Looking for some good cheap beer and a bite to eat whilst in Rhyl? Why not visit The Sussex, the J.D. Wetherspoon Pub in the sunny seaside town!

The pub is pretty much bang in the centre of town, just off the main shopping street on Sussex St.

The pub is of reasonable size, and has quite a big outside area to the front for smoking and outdoor eating and drinking.

The Wetherspoons range of drinks needs no introduction, we'll just describe it as extensive and well priced, and the food it of good standard and also well priced.

One nice drink we got was Double Smirnoff Vodka and Monster Energy Drink, very nice indeed!

The pub is decorated in dark wood, and although a little dark at night, it is very nice looking and the staff were friendly.

Ascend the dark wooden staircase to visit the upstairs loos!

The gents room is very nicely presented. It has grey walls, some black tiling, a central sink area, and is elegantly lit.

There are 4 or 5 white urinals, sectioned off by triangular divides tiled in the nice black tiling. This looks very nice, and will pevent splashes too!

The urinals were clean, and under advert boards etc.

The middle sink area is on a marble-esque worktop, with 3 sinks in it. The taps were push-on, and were highly pressured and very good. It looks like the original soap dispenser systems were borken, as shop-bought hand soap was provided.

There are two fast drying metal hand dryers on the wall near the entrance / exit door.

Toilet cubicle wise, there are 3 or 4, pretty much bog-standard wetherpoon toilet cubicles!

White bog, big roll holder, brushed metal door lock etc. That said, I had a dump here, and it was very enjoyable!

Good Pub - 7/10
