Description:
The Ale Wagon is a traditional good ale pub with a wealth of History.
Situated in the heart of Leicester this is the place for real ale, good background music and good people.

A traditional pub with traditional brewed ales this place had service with a smile, after tasting a few good ales and a chat with the locals it felt good the traditional pub. See the pub website for latest ales.

Another gem waiting to been seen here with the toilets. The toilets for any avid toilet fan, here display old fasion toilets, with various differn't names and toilet makers.

You can see here the changes and the past still to been seen with the old AdamAnt urinal block stone (see photos), here armatage shanks basens have been placed on top of the old slab style urianals still showing the urinal of yester year. This was very pleasing to see and good they didn't rip them out.

As you pass a modern wash basin and hand dryer the toilet cubial is small but with more toilet gems. Here we find quite an old bowl, this one made from a company in Hanley, Stoke, the toilet bowl is made by twyfords and is a Rampart, the cistern is made by Duplus, a company unknow to myself.

A real display of various toilet makers here and a delight to see a good chain present, after a good pull on the chain the flush was strong, like the old days before modern toilets.

A great display of modern and old here, a real gem and great real ale, and a great pub!

10/10 well worth a visit.
