Description:
We came to Terry's Balti House for some curry on a quiet week night in October 2009. We had initially wanted to go to The Taj, but after phoning it appeared not to be open, so we thought we'd try Terrys, which we had seen in the town centre (north) earlier in the week.
The restaurant is long and thin, with tables set out along a corridor configuration, with a bar at one end.
A waiter greeted us on entrance, and took our order for drinks, and then for food.
The scran was most delicious, and we'll definately be back when next in Blackpool. We had poppadoms, starter, then main. Prices were good, and the service excellent.
Decor is quite modern, tasteful. There were only a handful of other people in to eat, so we got brilliant service.
After curry, it was time to pop up the stairs to the toilets.
The gents is subtly lit, and nicely laid out.
The walls are grey(ish), with a sloping roof. There are 2 urinals, sink, and a cubicle.
The 2 Urinals were immaculate, and well presented, with good plumbing and no signs of mould.
The sink area had a shop-bought hand soap, and was in a worktop. The push-taps worked well.
The toilet cubicle is a bit plainer, by comparison. It has a white toilet, with cistern hidden behind a wooden board. There was loo roll and a loo brush.
Good Curry, Service, Toilets.
7/10
