Description:
The Yorkshire Bridge is a big pub, offering food and accomodation, on the banks of Ladybower reservoir, near Hope, not far from the border of Derbyshire and Yorkshire.

Many pub-goers will enter this pub after being out on a walk, maybe up Win Hill, or around the resevoir.

There is a large indoor pub area, a dining area, and a large beer garden.

Walkers take note: you may need to remove your muddy shoes prior to entry.

The pub itself is full of old artefacts and local trinkets, has a low roof, and a nice homely feel.

Good food is on offer, but only from 12-2pm during the daytime!

The beer is good too. We had the local Bakewell Best Bitter and some Copper Dragon Ale. Both were delicious.

The toilets are at the rear of the pub, in a little corridor that also leads to the beer garden and smoking areas.

The gents room is quite small. Infact, it is quite difficult to get in if there is somebody using the dryer opposite the door!

In the main room there is small, but clean, metal trough urinal.

This must get some hammer from all the ramblers in the pub!

To the left of the trough is a cubicle.

The cubicle had a nice white loo, brush, bin, paper dispenser and locking foor, and was nicely presented.

Back out to the main room from the cubicle, and you will find the aformentioned sink to your right, and a dryer to your left.

The dryer was old, and whilst it worked the metal direction catch was broken, so it didn't direct it's heat downwards!

Opposite is a big mirror, and a condom machine sits high in the far corner.

Nice pub... cosy but clean loos, need the hand dryer fixing.

7/10
