The Broken Cross Club is situated behind the Shell Petrol Station in the middle of Broken Cross, and has a good sized car park that can be found by taking the Fallibroome Road from the roundabout, and then taking a right turn.

The club building is divided into two areas; a private members bar, and a concert hall / function room which is often hired out for events.

We were in the hall here for a wedding party.

Size wise, it was a very good size, with lots of tables, and nicely decorated. There is a substantial sized stage, which was occupied by a Party DJ.

The bar is at the opposite end to the stage, and straddles both ends of the clubhouse.

The beer choice was quite substantial... there was pump beer, in this case Bitter and Twisted, plus many Draught options including Stones, and Coors Light Lager.

The spirit selection is also good, as is the bottled beer selection, which included Newcastle Brown Ale and Mackeson Stout!

We found the staff to be friendly and helpful, and they did a good job tidying up throughout the function.

The toilets, ladies and gents, can be found off the entrance corrisor to the function hall.

Enter the gents door, and you'll be wondering whether to try and open the green doors to your immediate left... don't, simply turn right... the door area is quite enclosed and could be confusing.

Once inside, you'll find quite a traditional gents loos, with a big stone urinal, sinks, and a single toilet cubicle.

The p*ss stone is old, and the pipework looked old too. The cistern it uses is old too, and a nice shape. There is a mirror to the right of it.

Strangely, there is a little metal sink to the left of the p*sser, which flows into the urinals... maybe good for mop water?

Next to the metal sink are three ceramic ones, on stilt supports, see photo. There was pump soap and a good electric drier here.

Above the sinks is an ancient looking fan.

The toilet cubicle seemed a bit dark. It has a white bog with a wood seat, and a big bog roll dispenser on the wall!

Nice Club, Good Old Fashioned Loos - 8/10
