The Ox is a pub located near to Deansgate, and across the road from the Museum of Science and Industry, on Liverpool Rd.
It is a foody pub, in a traditional style, subtly lit with period features.
On the walls are pictures of large Oxon!
At the bar, L shaped, we tried the Black Sheep Bitter, and found it to be most agreeable.
We came here late on a Saturday evening, and found the bar area to be bustling, and indeed food was still being served.
The Loos can be located at one end of the pub.
The gents had a busy urinal area, so I opted for the cubicle...
The cubicle is dark green tiled, a little tattered, and houses a white loo.
There was paper, and a lock, but the flush was knackered.
Great friendly, busy pub. I must try the food here some time.
Loos could do with a little care, but not bad for a bustling pub.
