The Weaver is the pub at the Thornton Square shops, on the estate not far from the Congleton Road in Macclesfield.
This is a typical 1960s / 1970s housing estate pub and local shops build.
Enter though, and you will find a very nice, and extensive, local pub.
We popped in just the other night, and turned left from the entrance hall into the main bar.
The pub was very nicely decorated, with a bar in the centre, and a further room to the back of the pub. In the front room there is also a pool table area.
We bought some drinks and relaxed to the raised seating area near the door... I did like the curved arch ceiling pieces visible from here!
On the bar were many drinks. Cask Robinson's Unicorn and Tetley accompanied Boddingtons Draught and the usual Lager etc.
The Robbies was a nice pint, and was well priced too, and served by a friendly bar lady.
The toilets are located via the entrance hall.
In the gents was a nice big p*ss stone urinal and a sink area that reminded me of McDonalds sinks for some reason.. no photos, but we hope to be back soon.
We did get a photo in the Gent's Cubicle however, which shows off the nice deep red floor tiling and white wall tiles. The bog itself was a fairly plain white toilet with black seat, and a right handled flush. There was loo roll in the big holder, and the door had a good locking bolt.
Nice Pub, Nice Beer, Good Bogs, we will be back soon... 7/10
