Description:
You will find The Golden Last towards the bottom of the main shopping street, Esatborough, in Scarborough Town Centre. You can't miss it, it has Northern Ireland flags and Rangers Shirts on show in the windows.

Enter and you will find a dim and tatty looking pub, full of incredible warmth and character!

On our recent trip here, we felt that this pub had it all, a barmy mix of characters, drunken antics and even a parrot flying around!

We got a drink, Tetley Bitter I think it was, and sat near the pool table. It wasn't long until we had people chatting to us. A former soldier from Northern Ireland, and a Dad and Daughter in Law out on the p*ss together.

Then the parrot came out.

Truly, we had a splendid time in here. We just hoped the bogs would match up... and they didn't disappoint!

The first thing you'll see in the gents is the large p*ss stone urinal, set against a chalk board back and terracotta flooring. It was clean enough.

The tiles on the wall are very much delapidated in places.

To the right of the urinal is a sink worktop clinging to a pole to survive against this wall tiling. It worked though, no complaints.

The old dryer didn't work though.

Into the cubicle... a bit of a mish-mash here. A green bog, but with a white plastic seat. There was a brush, and some loo roll, with more on the floor.

You can see some patterned wall tiles in here, however it is very grubby behind the toilet.

Look above, there's a hole in the walls, bricks and bog roll!

The back of the cubicle door was also good, strewn with graffiti. It did shut too though!

Brilliant Pub - 10/10

“This place is off the hook and oozes character! Was in town for Royal Wedding weds to fri night and paid the last a visit daily and nightly caffreys on draught was the best pint I experienced on my stay and as for the toilets a small sacrifice to make for such an interesting and unique public house. I believe they offer accommodation as well.”

“This pub is the best! It's got everything going for it. Warmth, character, and amazing people. Give it a try. You won't be sorry.”
