Description:
International Buffet is an "all you can eat" buffet restaurant located on the main square of China Town in Manchester City Centre, just off Portland St.

Enter up a short flight of stairs to find a large, long, restaurant, with the bar area at the front, where you will be greeted by a member of staff.

There were 8 of us, all up for buffet, and st 9.95 a head you can't really go wrong.

We ordered drinks first, so as they were not on the food bill.

A buy one get one free offer was on on the beer, which was great, and to our surprise the offer applied to bottles of wine too - brilliant!

We were seated after just 2 minutes.

Buffet wise, there was loads to choose from from starters, mains and puddings.

We started with soup, then the starter selection, the prawn and meat spring rolls were yum, then onto the mains, sweet and soure chicken, spicy beef, shredded duck on pancakes, they have it all.

Food quality was good, all was very tasty, in fact I can say that I enjoyed every single item I ate, and I ate a lot!

After all that food and drink, a visit to the loos was essential. These are located down an old rickety metal spiral staircase, near the front of the building...

The gents is grey tiled, with a beige tiled floor. It has one urinal, two cubicles and a sink worktop.

The two sinks are on a dark / black worktop, with one tap each, not very warm! The hand ryer is on the wall by the door.

The urinal seemed clean, and has a very long pipe up to it's cistern, see photo.

The two toilet bowls, behind wooden doors, are cream coloured, and had accompanying loo brushes. They no longer had roll holders, the big bog rolls sat on the cistern tops.

Doors locked fine.

Great restaurant. Loos need a little attention, i.e. hot water and loo roll holders.

Recommended!
