A somewhat cliquey pub with expensive beer for no good reason. Has a regular clientele and after work crowd. Very much 'a locals' pub in here. Big on sports with plasma screens and pool tables. Food is not bad and has a small function room upstairs. Beer garden and enclosed smoking area with an outside TV.
A good pub for watching football. They have decent screens throughout and are capable of showing two different games when necessary. The cask ale isn't much to write home about but at least they have some. I wouldn't really bother going except to watch football.
Good ale selection on offer in here (but can be expensive, £2.95 average for a beer). The pub often have a disco and karaoke nights.
The loos here are situated to the left of the bar. Follow a little corridor down passed the fire exit and you will come to the Gents.
First thing we see as we walk in is nice green decor tiles around the loo. Brown flooring in here. An excellent metal p*ss trough here with an aroma of lemon coming from it.
One spacious cubicle here with more of the green tiling in here.
All packed into one corner are one wash sink, one wall mirror and a hand dryer. A very small little plastic bin provided to pop your rubbish into.
A Johnny machine and two posters on the wall.
Overall not a bad loo for this place. The pub is great for a quick drink or two or a stopping off place before heading on to Nottingham City Centre.
Rate this one 7/10.
