Queen's Walk Community Centre is located in the Meadows, Nottingham. When coming here make sure you don't get shot!!
The Community Centre is great and is not run down like so many other community centres. We come here to go to a weekly club. After we have finished we always have a quick visit to the bar.
The bar to the Community Centre is on the second floor. Standard bar in here selling typical beers and soft drinks. The Johns Smiths or Guinness always go down well.
The bar is great for functions and have facilities for holding up to 100-150 people. Many groups and people always hire out the bar for functions and what not.
Now the loos.
The toilets here are located down a corridor opposite the bar.
Typical sort of council ran toilets in here. The first thing that hits my mind, is that the toilets look like the old fashioned sh*tters you use to get in schools.
The highlight in these bogs is the metal p*ss trough, check it out. Stand on a raised platform to p*ss into this trough. A very deep and tall metal p*ss trough. Look above to see that the windows are boarded up (as the area gets its fair amount of trouble from yobs and toe rags). The toilets with the windows almost gives a prison toilet feel to these sh*tters.
One cubicle in here with plenty of bog roll.
Twin sinks with a big long double mirror in here. No soap dispenser but an ASDA replacement. Just hand towels in here and long plastic bin.
A strong smell of council brand disinfectant in these sh*tters.
