A Wetherspoons pub in Arnold, Nottingham. A great pub for a few pints after shopping in Arnold for that cheap bargain.
Not many decent pubs in Arnold these days, so this probably is the best place for a pint or two in the area.
As far as wetherspoon places go, this one is good. Beer is always well kept, service is efficient, food is (mostly) served hot and clientelle is not bad. It could do with a fresh few licks of paint, but that aside, this is the best place to drink in Arnold in my opinion, and a positive feather in the wetherspoon cap.
The pub takes it's name from the Domesday book, where you find Arnold listed as Ernehale meaning the Eagle's Nest!
Typical Wetherspoons menu and drinks here. Not the biggest Wetherspoons around but big enough. The beer garden is nice here for summer months.
As with most Wetherspoons the bogs are upstairs.
Simple loo here.
Cubicles line the back wall and a few urinals face opposite. Four wash basins with soap dispensers above. Nice long wall mirror here.
A kind of blue and white décor in this crapper.
Clean enough here but like the rest of the pub the toilets could do with a bit of a makeover.
