The Ruby Lounge is below High Street, round the corner from Debenhams, opposite the Arndale Centre, and a stones throw from the Nothern Quarter.
The underground live music bar is big, well decorated with leather settees and has a good atmosphere.
Drinks are a little pricey, £4.20 for Crabbies, £1.80 for half a Coke, but not unusual for live music bars, and at least they sell proper draught beers, and not just tins of Red Stripe (which is available if you wish).
The stage area is a good size, and the acoustics are good.
Into the gents, and this is good too, spacious, 4 p*ssers, 2 sh*tters, and a nice sink area with soap and a dryer, all well kept.
Negatives? Well, no cubicle locks, but they do close to quite nicely anyway.
Only the one photo to show, of one of the loos, spacious in it's cubicle, with plenty of bog roll and a good flush.
