Centrally situated next to the railway and bus station. The Lumley is in a prime location in Skegness.
A pub for locals although friendly to tourists. A great play area for the kids of all ages and a beer garden which is great for a drink in the summer. Its quieter that most pubs in Town. The pub is ideal if you want a late night drink with the family in the summer.
It is decorated in brown and beige colors with some great lighting to set the scene which is contemporary and cosy. The mixture of seating including leather sofa's, new tables and chairs really blend well with the upholstery of orange and gold in the fabrics.
Food is available daily from a varied main menu along with choices on the Specials board.
The pub have a popular weekly karaoke night every Saturday along with a quiz night, why not get p*ssed and sing the night away in here?
On our visit we were very thirty after walking around the Town so we nipped in for a pint and I also needed a sh*t! So it was the perfect opportunity to check the bogs out in here.
We had a quick visit to the bog. Everything was in good order on our visit.
I ran into the nearest cubicle and filled the bowl up. Plenty of bog roll and the flushed work well as well. Could not find a bog brush though to scrub the skids away. I am sure I saw one last time I was in here, perhaps someone had nicked it?
The loos could do with a lick of paint and a bit of TLC to brighten it up a bit.
Overall not a bad local pub and a local bog.
