Description:
The G + D, well, what can we say?

Is this Macclesfield's most exciting pub?

Packed to the rafters with middle aged folk, from local bus drivers to market workers.

Fruit Machine, Cheap Pool at 40p, Skittles and Darts provide great entertainment.

The pub shows Sky TV for Champions League and other sporting events.

The bar is cheap, very cheap, Robbies bitter, Guinness and Carling on tap.

Check out Malt of the Month - usually Oban.

The furnishing in this pub is best described as tatty, but its a classic place.

One single CD is on constant repeat with such tunes as MMM Bop by Hanson!

The bogs are cold in winter, but good for a sh*t, the 3 p*ssers are very generous.

Check it out!

Update April 05 - New Photos!

The 3 p*ss pots with tray ash trays next to the pipes, not bad!

Sink, soap, hand dryer and mirror! what more could you ask for?

What a lovely bog brush, greatly complimenting the dark wooden bog seat, oooh you could even eat your dinner of it!

Update August 2008:

A guy called Dave is now in charge here, and it's a great pub to be in, the hospitality is spot on.

A recent trip for a p*ss revealed an orange / yellow mould growing on the urinal pipes, see photo. This has also been seen in The Swan With Two Necks, and seem's to be a Macc phenomenon!

A Well Recommended Pub!

Update October 2008:

The orange mould is on the mend, tonight we gazed up at the urinal cisterm, and noticed a cracking collection of plumbing bits that feed it! check out the new photo!

Update November 2008:

We've been back and had some excellent Unicorn Bitter in here.. Dave and his wife are very friendly, and we met an old dear called Jean!

Oh, yes, and we've added a photo of the quality Gents sign, check it out!
