My friend and I visited Revolution for a meal before going to see a film at The Corner House.
What a treat! I had a delicious goat's cheese and beetroot pizza, while my friend had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. Everything was cooked and presented perfectly. To follow we had a sharing salted chocolate fondue, complete with fruit and marshmallows. A lovely cup of tea finished off our delightful meal and we went off to see our film feeling very well fed and happy.
The place looks nice- really nice setting for the bar. Open view kitchen which was cool to see; chefs looked very efficient and happy! Bar staff very good - took a while to get served but that's just credit to how busy they all were.
Place was great till I went to the toilet - horrendous sewer smells hit me as I embarked from the stairs to the gents to be met with urinals surrounded by p*ss.
Probably a one off but very off-putting. Th cubicle was a real tight squeeze between the door and the bowl. My trouser leg was coated by p*ssed from the bowl as I squeezed to shut the cubicle door. Why such as tight squeeze?
Only managed to get one photo of the cubicle but hopefully we will be back to photograph more and hopefully the toilets will be a little better.
We had a great meal and evening. Toilets were a little disappointing, but overall this is something that can be rectified with a good clean of the sh*thouse.
