Whilst visiting relatives in Liverpool we visited this lovely authentic restaurant.
Although it was Sunday lunch there weren't many people in and it did feel a little bit empty. I would guess the atmosphere is much different in the evening when its full I'm sure. But the food was excellent - the portions are very big and we could have probably done without all three courses but we did enjoy it! I had a "small" portion of Gnocchi for a starter and it could easily have passed as a main meal size!!
The food was presented lovely, was fresh and hot.
If you have room for a desert you must try the spaghetti ice - very novel and the taste of the ice-cream is divine.
I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience.
It was lovely to hear all the staff speaking Italian and they were very friendly without being "in your face".
We had a quick visit to the bogs before we left. Very impressive.
We were informed that very recently the restaurant had new bogs fitted.
Very fresh and modern looking inside.
Nice white sparkling while tiles line the walls and a cream floor fitted throughout.
Lovely sparkling white p*ss pots line the main wall as you walk in through the bog door. These were very lovely to p*ss into.
I did not need a sh*t on this occasion but the cubicles looked very clean and decent.
There are square sinks to wash your hands in. Both hot and cold water taps worked well.
Everything was spot on here.
Nice food and sh*tters.
