Description:
This was our first visit to this restaurant after it was suggested to us by friends.

We found the restaurant to be very friendly with a relaxing and sophisticated ambiance. We received a warm welcome and were looked after throughout our meal.

A buffet place, we had high hopes and we were not disappointed. We loved the starters and ate lots of them. The desserts were great with different Indian dessert like almond halwa and different fresh fruits and more importantly great ice cream, we loved the ice cream specially the coconut one. The main course had different tandoori, soup, chicken and you can eat all with rice or bread. The staff were so so kind, we were really pleased with the staff.

Our friends had told us that the loos were superb clean here, so we were expecting the same. Again like the food we were not disappointed.

An inspection of the gents and the disabled bog revealed super clean loos.

The gents is quite a modern affair inside with sparkling clean walls.

There are three urinals which line the far wall. These seemed pleasantly clean and they automatically flushed a couple of times while we were in there.

I needed to take a dump after the buffet scran so I went into one of the cubicles. The cubicle is very spacious inside. We are greeted by a simple bowl with a white bog seat. There is a little bin below the bowl, how nice! To the right on the wall is the bog roll dispenser. This was a little disappointing as it did not let much bog roll out. There is like a brown marble looking board above the toilet bowl. There are shelf areas above the bowl and to the right of the cubicle. Great to put your drinks on while you take that sh*t!

The sinks were again superb clean and everything worked well.

While we were at it we took a look at the disabled bog. Again this was very much the same as the gents. Superb clean and no complaints.

We highly recommend the Chef and Spice but would advise you to wear something loose - those starters are irresistible!

Also worth a visit to check out the superb clean bogs!

8/10.
