Description:
This bar used to be Yates Wine Lodge, originally know for cheap drinks and a friendly atmosphere, but then turned into a chav hotspot, and a well known friday night fighting ground, so it was time for a change.

In 2004, American Bar and Grill took over, aimed at a more sophisticated clientelle.

Basically, theyve slightly shortened the bar, installed new seating, and painted everything black! As the name suggests, the pub is food-orientated, but at night the pub turns into a lively place, with live blues bands and rock n roll DJs.

A big pub, very big, with large ceilings and a magnificent staircase. The bar is also very long, and has an excellent choice of drinks and wotnot.

Up the large staircase you will find the massive bogs!

You will see 3 sinks to your left as you enter the room, 3 sinks set into red marble type stone, on a plain background with an attractive tile border.

3 sinks you will think? A swift movement to your right will reveal the p*sser parade, oh my word, theres loads of them!

8 p*ssers in total, neatly arranged plumbing in 2 banks of 4, excellent sir!

They blend in well with a few framed ads on the walls, and the black and white diamond floor tiles.

At the far side is the nodder machine, take the long walk to it and admire the pipework, lots of p*ss soaps on show too, go on be a devil and p*ss one to bits!

Opposite the p*ssers are 4 cubicles, set in wooden surrounds you find plain white toilets and seats, cistern-less, which sit attractively against their wooden backs and the diamond flooring.

Back to the sinks, the 3 of, both have twin taps, and are in excllent setting with soap dispensers and hand dryers.

I was very impressed with these pub toilets!

8/10
