The Green Baize Snooker Club is located within the Butlins complex in Skegness.
The snooker club is quite a impressive room with well over twenty snooker tables. There is also a bar, so what more can you ask for?
We used the "Green Baize games room", more than any of the other activities on our trip to Butlins. It is free to use and has plenty of snooker tables and three dart boards. We got a pint of Guinness from the bar and settled down for a good afternoon of snooker.
The interior of the Green Baize in recent years has been refurbished with a nice low ceiling and heating.

The toilets are not far away here. Lets have a peep!
First thing you notice when entering is how old fashioned the bogs are. They are most certainly the original bogs from the 1960s/70s and you can tell this. It gives you the impression the bog has seen plenty of sh*t and p*ss over the years!
The décor is very old. The walls look like they have had about 20 coats of paint over the years. The floor is a mucky red colour with plenty of stains to match.
We used one of the cubicles. Again very old tired bog bowl and cistern. After my long p*ss the flush struggled to flush away the yellow urine. There was not much bog roll.
The sinks again as you can imagine where not much better. But worked OK.
Overall we had a smashing afternoon of snooker here accompanied by a couple of pints of Guinness.
The gents bog was very old fashioned and tired looking. But then again it added to that old nostalgic feeling of holidays to Butlins in the 60s and 70s.
So can't complain really. Great place!
