Called in twice here while on holiday for the weekend in Great Yarmouth. On each occasion the place was very busy as expected for a Wetherspoons. This normally means a lengthy wait!
Each time we were served very quickly at the bar, but the food was delivered well over 25 minutes on both occasions. . We had Fish and Chips on the Saturday and they were nice. On our second visit for Sunday we had the Sunday Roast. This was disappointingly cold and we had to send it back. This meant an even longer wait for our Sunday Lunch! We eventually got our meals and we were given some extra portions. This time it was piping hot and we enjoyed it.
The other criticism could be that the tables were not cleared very quickly, but I suppose this could be excused because of the place being packed.
The toilets were smelly and neglected. Maybe this was due to the place being busy and not many staff working in the establishment on those particular days.
The cubicle we went into was dark inside. There was p*ss on the floor and the flush handle did not work.
Overall we have mixed feelings from our visit. Wetherspoons need to put some more staff on at the weekends and clean up the sh*tters at The Troll Cart in Great Yarmouth!
