We visited here on a Saturday about 12 for carvery and we were a bit skeptical. However since it's changed hands from crown to sizzling (??) it's gone up hill! Veg was gorgeous, everything you could ever want in a roast dinner was there. The meat was nice and tender and everything was piping hot- I had to wait a few minutes before I could tuck in!
The staff kept asking if we were OK which was a bit off putting and the knives seemed blunt. But all in all it was OK.
The atmosphere was also very relaxing and laid back despite there being a big football game being shown in the lounge area. I like the fact that there are no TVs in the dinning area to keep a relaxed environment
The place has changed hands recently which means the bogs have only just been revamped.
I was slightly disappointed to see the bogs were a bit neglected.
In the cubicle the toilet seat to the toilet bowl had come off and the flush failed to work. The cubicle was also very narrow inside
We had a nice meal here and enjoyed our visit. Slight disappointment with the toilet.
