Large pub with plenty of seating area inside. Usual traditional Weatherspoons decor. Pub was very busy but still managed to find a seat. Table wasn't cleared but something came not long after we had sat down.
Polite and warm service as the bar. Great selection of food at very reasonable prices. Varied selection of drinks. Food was served promptly despite being very busy. Portion size was good and most importantly tasted great.
The toilets here are stunning. The gents bog has fixtures and decorated wash bowls. Even more impressive they sport bookcases, easy chairs sw*nky carpets and even a fireplace!
Very impressive size to the toilets. There are plenty of cubicles and urinals to pick from.
The toilet rolls in the cubicles are encased in a plastic shell and when loo paper breaks off you can't reach inside casing so you have no choice but to hobble into next cubicle with your trousers around your ankles like I did. Really wanted to smash it off the wall but didn't. Many others would! Also on my visit both hand dryers were kaput.
I believe that these bogs have won quite a few loo awards over the years. I can see why with the impressive décor and size to them. However a few issues on our visit but I suppose these can be quickly rectified. Apart from that it was fine.
